For close to three decades, K-Tech International has been providing discerning controller manufacturers and contractors alike, the Nyload, and now the K-Weigh Intelligent Load Weighing System. This tried and true load weighing solution is ideal for traction and hydraulic elevator environments working equally well on both isolated and non-isolated cabs.

Interface With Virtually Any

K-Tech load weighing is ideal for both modernization and new construction of traction elevators. Using crosshead mounted strain gauge technology, the deflection sensor is designed to work on both isolated and non-isolated cabs.
There is no need for any cab renovation, such as replacement of isolation pads or re-squaring, since these factors do not affect the bending of the crosshead under the strain of the load. Additionally, installation does not require major work, like jacking up the cab off the frame, so it can be easily completed in one day.
The initial installation of any load weighing system is the most critical part of a successful application. The design of the K-Weigh incorporates several innovations to make it easier to do it right the first time:
as a sturdy sensor guard to protect it after installation.AutoZero ensures that settings stay put. The K-Weigh will maintain the original calibration and eliminate measurement errors from emergency stops, seasonal temperature shifts, and other changes to the car's frame.
AutoZero can be triggered automatically through a signal from the elevator controller, or manually by a simple button press.
