Simple Telephone Selection and Installation
- Telephone line powered for easy wiring and installation.
- One Plus Model per telephone line or PBX extension.
Simple Programming
- Built-in keypad allows emergency telephone number to be conveniently set or modified without extra parts or tools.
- Non-volatile memory using EEPROM technology allows programming months in advance of installation or telephone line activation without risk of memory loss.
ADA Code Compliant Features
- Hands-free operation with a lighted push-button which can be flashed to alert occupants that help is on the way.
- Braille plates with raised lettering for ADA compliance.
- Automatically answers incoming calls.
- Automatically shuts-off when the called party hangs up.
- FCC and IC approved.
Operation
- A single press of the push-button activates the unit, and lights the visual indicator.
- The programmed emergency telephone number is dialed automatically.
- When the called party answers, two-way communication begins. The visual indicator can be made to flash by the called party to indicate that help is on the way.
- When the call is completed, the K-Phone will shut off automatically.
- Plus Models can be called back to establish two-way communication from any telephone at any time.
